The new Certina DS Podium Chrono Diamonds Lady’s Watch features a round case with a diameter of 34 mm. The case is rendered in 316L stainless steel and PVD-coated with rose-gold for a graded look. It carries a sparkling bezel which is decorated by sixty Top Wesselton diamonds. At three o’clock of the case is a winding crown which is monogrammed with “DS”. Next to the crown are two pushes pieces at two and four o’clock respectively. The front of the case is protected by a sapphire crystal. The case is designed to be water resistant to 100 meters.
Beneath the sapphire crystal is viewed a brown dial which is finished with sunray for a special charming look. The dial features Arabic numerals and strips as the hour markers which are PVD-coated with rose-gold. Three hands are steadily gliding over them which are also PVD-treated with rose-gold. The dial looks harmonious.
The chronograph counters are nicely organized in the dial. The 1/10th-second counter is located at 2 o’clock while at the balancing 10 o’clock is a 30-minute counter. The 60-second counter is distinctively located at 6 o’clock. Next to the 60-second counter, at four o’clock is a clear date aperture. All functions are given life by a Swiss made ETA 251.471 quartz chronograph movement.
Teaming up with the new Certina DS Podium Chrono Diamonds Lady’s Watch is a snakeskin-finish brown leather strap, closed with a butterfly clasp. The whole lady’s watch is elegant and sweet.
