A bezel of the same material as the watch case is set on the case. At three o’clock of the case is the winding crown and at the top of the case is an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protecting the dial. The case back is also made of transparent material which ensures one’s clear view of its magnificent movement. The case of the Chopard L.U.C Quattro watch is built to assure down to 50 meters.
The movement of the Chopard L.U.C Quattro watch is a Swiss made in-house hand-wound caliber 1.98 one. It incorporates four spring barrels and has an operation rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its power reserve ability is 216 hours. The movement is beautifully adorned by 39 jewels and has the Cotes de Geneva stripes and patterns of the Poincon de Geneve Hallmark embellishing it.
The mechanism gives life to its functions including the hours, minutes, small seconds and date functions. All these functions are showcased in a two-toned dial. The dial showcases large Roman numerals as the hour markers and sword-shaped hands as the hours and minutes hands. At six o’clock, the dial showcases the small seconds display as well as the date display. The display at twelve o’clock is a power reserve indicator.
